Resource

Services are available to assist students to discover their unique learning styles, identify their strengths and weaknesses, and find practical solutions to assist them in the classroom and at home.

When deemed necessary, the trained resource staff conducts an assessment with the permission of the student and parents. A plan for implementation is drafted and given to the student’s teachers for application in the classroom.

A number of parent volunteers work with the resource staff to assist with accommodations, such as oral testing and scribing for those with identified learning needs documented in the student’s Individualized Education Plan.
